In order to achieve the best properties at the lowest possible sensor failure rates, piezoelectric sensors must be assembled in an absolutely sterile environment. Even the tiniest impurities could degrade the measurement properties and reduce product life in extreme cases.
To rule this out, every single component is cleaned in complex multi-step processes and assembled to the sensors in clean rooms. Within this ultra-clean environment, only precision devices are used for accurate positioning of the components. For some special applications, we even control the humidity and the degree of dryness within the materials or create a specific environment inside a sensor. By cleverly combining these aspects, we are able to manufacture sensors with the lowest serial dispersion, consistent with the highest quality standards of accuracy and durability.
