In order to achieve the best properties at the lowest possible sensor failure rates, piezoelectric sensors must be assembled in an absolutely dust-free environment. Even the tiniest impurities could degrade the measurement properties and reduce product life in extreme cases.

To rule this out, every single component is cleaned in complex multi-step processes and assembled to the sensors in clean rooms. Within this ultra-clean environment, only precision devices are used for accurate positioning of the components. For some special applications the humidity and dryness of the materials are controlled or specific atmospheres are created inside the sensors. By cleverly combining these aspects, it is possible to produce sensors with the lowest serial variation that meet the highest quality standards in terms of accuracy and durability.
